St. Jude Radiothon

North Louisiana's 39th annual St. Jude Radiothon will broadcast live 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 13-14 on station Z107.5. The Zeta Rho chapter of the service group Epsilon Sigma Alpha co-sponsors the Ruston event, which last year brought in nearly $85,000 in on- and off-air contributions. Feb. 13-14 the event will be located at both Ruston's Super 1 Foods and the Z107.5 radio station. At Super 1, after-school children's activities will be provided. The donation line will be 1-800-787-5288. Throughout January and February, donations are also being accepted at a number of participating area businesses. Some schools are also conducting fundraising activities prior to and connected with the radiothon, and on the days of the radiothon, volunteers will collect donations at both Ruston Walmarts.
