3rd Annual Lincoln Lights Up the Pines
Drive-Thru Christmas Lights Trail in Lincoln Parish Park
Join us again this year for Ruston's only drive-thru Christmas lights display! This year is certain to be bigger and better than the last with hundreds of new lights. This event is the perfect activity for the whole family, allowing passengers to see vintage campers decorated for the season and light displays from the comfort and warmth of their vehicle.
Admission is $5 per car and $10 per bus. All of the proceeds will go to benefit Lincoln Parish Park.
Decorators Needed! In an attempt to create a trail of lights beginning at the park admission booth and continuing to the RV sites, we are looking for participants to decorate. The spaces, measuring approximately 25 yards, can be reserved to promote your business or organization for $100/Chamber members and $150/non-Chamber members. Set-up may begin Monday, November 27. All decorating must be completed by noon on November 30. Decorations can be as simple as a lighted Christmas tree or as extravagant as you like, but it must include lights. Generators will be positioned throughout the park so that everyone will have access to power. (Please bring extension cords.) You are encouraged to incorporate your business/organization sign into the area. Tailgating is limited to designated parking areas, not in your decorated area. Decorations must be taken down by December 10. Anything remaining after December 10 will be considered a donation to enhance the 2018 exhibit.
Registration for Christmas Parade is now underway with special discounts available if you register for the parade and Lincoln Lights Up the Pines by November 1, 2017.
