DAUZAT ST. MARIE in concert at the Dixie

Coming back home to Ruston and back to the stage at the Dixie! When you hear Los Angeles-based music duo Dauzat St. Marie refer to their shows in Ruston as “homecoming shows,” they aren’t speaking in a figurative manner. Not only did the duo form in Ruston when members Mat Dauzat and Heather St. Marie met while attending Louisiana Tech University, but Mat is also a Lincoln General Hospital-born Ruston native. “We love coming home to play Ruston because at our shows elsewhere in the world, we are ‘Dauzat St. Marie’…. at our shows in Ruston, we are just ‘hometown Mat and Heather,’” says Dauzat. “Our homecoming shows have a unique energy all their own because the crowds consist primarily of long-time friends and die-hard supporters… many of whom have been with us since day one.”
